Part of [Expedition.1] installation, Matrix presents eighteen copper plates mounted on a steel structure, derived from the matrices used to produce Reflections. Positioned opposite earth, it acts as both origin and observatory—receiving light, mapping surfaces, and shaping image. Like a viewing instrument, it mediates between ground and vision, holding the tension between what has been imprinted and what is yet to appear.
