Part of [Expedition.1] installation, A new world takes the form of a worn metallic module, marked by impact and return. A central opening reveals an abstracted landscape, evoking the view of Earth from orbit. Positioned between object and image, the work situates the viewer at a distance from the familiar, where terrain becomes surface and perception shifts between recognition and estrangement.
