A fence takes a familiar domestic structure and displaces it into the gallery, where it no longer functions as a true barrier but as a charged symbolic form. Built from reclaimed wooden planks marked by scars, weathering, and use, the work carries traces of material, social, and architectural histories. Suspended between shelter and exclusion, safety and control, it reflects on the unstable meaning of borders and asks from which side a fence is raised, inhabited, or confronted.
