DESCRIPTION
Borrowing its title from To Axion Esti, the poem by Odysseas Elytis set to music by Mikis Theodorakis, On the verges of the water of eons unfolds across two panels as a field of merging and dispersing forms. Black and white circles multiply, fade, and converge toward the center, evoking flow, passage, and creation. The work treats the image as both landscape and cosmology, suspended between beginning and dissolution.
