«Κι εγώ σε αγαπάω… σ’ αγαπώ, μ’ ακούς;» “I love you too… I love you, can you hear me?”
Created in response to the Tempi train collision in Greece in 2023, this tetraptych draws from the final fragments of a young female passenger’s recorded phone call to the police emergency line (“100”). Each sheet carries a selected fragment: “me too,” “I love you,” “I love you,” and “do you hear me?” Printed with metallic dust, the words acquire a fragile, almost spectral presence. As the metal gradually oxidizes, the text itself changes over time, becoming a material trace of a vanishing voice and an act of remembrance in the face of collective tragedy.
