DESCRIPTION
Genesis takes its title and impulse from To Axion Esti, the poem by Odysseas Elytis set to music by Mikis Theodorakis. The print stages a moment of emergence: four spheres hover between union and division, reading at once as maps, cells, planetary bodies, and seeds of life. The work holds creation as both image and event, where the microcosm and macrocosm begin to mirror one another.
