DESCRIPTION
Part of the About a Life series, A Rabbit at Exit 4 North of I-795 is formed from a scan of roadkill, cast in asphalt to preserve its imprint. Positioned off-center on a long, narrow slab, the figure emphasizes both presence and absence—its body set against an empty expanse of pavement. The work captures a fleeting, violent moment, exposing the collision between natural and built environments, and reflecting on human impact and the fragility of life at the edge of progress.
